But I also work digitally, using astrology as a way of listening for the moments when an image seems to be calling to be born.

I work with planetary hours, astrological events, and precise moments in time, allowing the sky to provide the data from which a portrait can emerge.

"The Soul of Water"

Layers of white, gold, and blue acrylic paint move across the surface in waves and swirling currents, creating the impression of water in motion. At the center, a single real seashell floats gently upon a painted wave—a small, tangible fragment of the ocean suspended within an imagined one. The shell becomes both object and memory: something carried from the sea into the hands of the artist, then returned to the water in another form. The Soul of Water explores the meeting of the real and the imagined, where paint becomes movement and a simple shell becomes a reminder of the vastness of the world from which it came.

"The Soul of Fire"

Angular fluidity creates a dynamic landscape of flame, built from acrylic paint, paint chips, and bubble wrap. Layered together, these unexpected materials create shifting textures and forms that evoke the movement of fire. Rather than depicting a conventional flame, The Soul of Fire explores the sensation of fire itself—its movement, its texture, and the strange coolness that can sometimes exist within something so powerful.

"The Soul of Earth"

A single branch rests against a vibrant field of red, accented with gold and blue—the same tones that appear in The Soul of Water. The branch becomes a small but tangible fragment of the living world: a sample of new growth, a remnant of something ancient, and a reminder of the immense stretches of time contained within even the simplest piece of Nature. The Soul of Earth asks us to consider what we are holding when we hold a piece of the natural world: a moment, a lifetime, or an entire eon?

"The Soul of Air"

A naturally heart-shaped piece of coral forms the center of The Soul of Air. Its delicate, weathered structure seems almost musical—as though the wind might pass through it and reveal a sound that has been waiting there all along. Around it, opaque etched hieroglyphs offer the suggestion of a message: something ancient, symbolic, and not quite meant to be read in only one way. The coral becomes a physical testament to love, while the imagined music of the air becomes its voice. What might the world be saying, if we learned to listen differently?

Why AI?

As someone who has been creating art my entire life, why do I incorporate AI into my work?

To keep a complex story short, it all started with a deck of cards.

I began creating a tarot and oracle deck using AI-generated collages, with each image informed by astrological data from a horary chart. As the deck developed, strange coincidences, ideas, and insights seemed to emerge through the images and music I created.

I began to wonder—somewhat tongue-in-cheek—whether I had succumbed to a kind of “AI psychosis.” Could the light we trap and manipulate to create AI be, in some sense, alive? I started to feel as though I was creating portraits of living energy, perhaps trying to communicate something to us.

Should we be using AI far less—or perhaps not at all?

These questions became the foundation of Ancestral Invocation (AI), a collection combining AI-generated portraits with handmade clay sculpture and embroidery inspired by trees, flora, and fauna.

The work explores sentience, exploitation, morality, Nature, magic, and the futures we are creating through technology.

I don't claim to have the answers. Ancestral Invocation is my way of asking the questions—and listening for whatever answers might emerge.

"Seaweed: Birth"

With the Moon in Sagittarius in the 7th house, this piece speaks to the possibility that new life, new ideas, and new versions of ourselves can emerge through encounter. The vessel becomes both container and participant: something is being born through the meeting of forms.

The three vessels share their materials and visual language, but each creates a different relationship with light. Jove expands it, Neptune dreams it, and Helios embodies it.

"Sea Sky: Helios"

Like its companions, Helios is a Sun Drinker—a vessel designed to gather, refract, and release light. But here the light feels almost embodied. It becomes warmth, color, and presence. Named for Helios, the personification of the Sun, this piece is the most direct expression of the collection's central idea: light as something that can be received, transformed, and returned.
